The 500k Run
Welcome to the 500k Run page!
The 500k Run is the pinnacle event in our summer of fundraising.
Last year in our inaugral event, we were able to raise enough money to send 45 new field workers into rural India through our communities fund raising efforts.
Our goal is to run 500 kilometers across our 500k community. You can get involved by running a 5k, a 10k or perhaps even a half marathon!
And what’s this all for?
We believe that every person in India should have access to the good news of Jesus.
There are so many people in India who have never heard of Jesus. Up to 500,000 villages that have no church community, no gospel witness. So we are helping to send people into these unreached villages to share the love of Jesus.
Our goal through the 500k run this year is to send 50 new field workers into rural villages in India. These 50 workers will go on to impact around 100 villages.
It costs $80 a month to send a missionary into an an unreached village in India.
And this year, because of the generosity of some of our key supporters, we have enough match funding to send 100 new field workers. That means that for every $1 you give, one of our key supporters will go on to give a further $1 themselves, doubling your impact.
